Group’s Hydrogeology Department provides full environmental
consulting services to a wide variety of private clients, large businesses,
municipalities, and state and federal agencies. These services include
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II subsurface
investigations, remediation services, landfill monitoring and reporting,
and soil, groundwater and soil vapor monitoring and investigation
services. Expert witness services are also provided. The Hydrogeology
Department, based in our headquarters office in Ronkonkoma, New York,
provides services primarily in the greater New York metropolitan
area.
Support services are also provided to our Regional offices as needed.
Examples of projects performed include Phase I ESAs of multi-block
commercial/industrial facilities, Phase I and II investigations of
former manufacturing facilities, investigations and remediation of
NYS Brownfield Cleanup Program, Voluntary Cleanup Program, petroleum spill, and Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal
(Superfund) sites, landfill groundwater and gas monitoring and reporting,
operation, monitoring and reporting for air sparge/soil vapor extraction
and groundwater pump-and-treat remedial systems, performance and monitoring of in-situ contaminant treatment, and commercial/industrial
facility environmental closure. We specialize in rapid-turnaround
projects and take pride in the achieving regulatory agency approvals
and closures for our clients.
The Hydrogeology Department is managed by Stephanie O. Davis, PG,
CPG, who has over 22 years of professional experience in geology,
hydrogeology, and related subjects. Ms. Davis is supported by an experienced
technical staff, including senior, mid-level and staff hydrogeologists,
geologists, and environmental scientists. Depending on the type of
project, we utilize additional staff from our Environmental Engineering
Department or other technical departments.
