Elizabeth
Agin
Elizabeth Agin has 5 years experience in
archaeological geophysics, remote sensing, and GIS. Her education
and professional background emphasizes geophysical investigations
for the location and delineation of subsurface cultural sites. She
acquired relevant experience while running her own geophysical consulting
business which included field data collection, data QA/QC and data
processing using Surfer and ArcGIS applications. She has conducted
geophysical projects at municipal government sites as well as private
and industrial properties throughout Kansas and Illinois. Her geophysical
investigations are known internationally through several authored
papers and investigations featured in numerous publications. Ms.
Agin has conducted and managed geophysical and remote sensing investigations
with large format aerial photography and electromagnetic (EM) conductivity
along with global positioning system (GPS) land surveying instruments.
Ms. Agin is also experienced in using ground penetrating radar (GPR),
electrical resistivity, and magnetic systems, as well as managing
and utilizing federal geospatial data.
Ms. Agin received her B.A. in Archaeology from the University of
Kansas and her M.S. from Emporia State University with an emphasis
in Geophysics. She is current with OSHS Health and Safety Hazwoper
Training (29 CFR 1910.120).
