Michael J. Fitzgerald

Mr. Fitzgerald is a Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst with over 5 years experience in geodatabase development, analysis management, and maintenance including data acquisition, conversion, metadata development, and dissemination with a comprehensive understanding of cartography, topology, projections, global positioning systems, and remote sensing tools and technologies. He also has the ability to recommend GIS hardware and software, as well as provide support and training.

Mr. Fitzgerald has wetland ecosystem experience that includes preparation of Article 24, Joint NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and US Army Corps of Engineers freshwater wetland, NYS Article 15 Protection of Waters, and Nationwide Permit applications.

Mr. Fitzgerald received his Bachelors of Science degrees in Environmental and Forest Biology and Forest and Natural Resources Management, and his Master of Professional Science in Forest and Natural Resource Information Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
