Niels van Hoesel
Mr. van Hoesel has been Field Operations Manager since 2002 on several USACE HTRW and AFCEE LTM contracts. In this role he planned, managed, and evaluated LTM/LTO programs at several Air Force Bases. His responsibilities included the start-up and planning of all field activities and coordination of multiple field crews. Planning involved interaction with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers as well as ongoing interaction with state and federal regulators. Mr. van Hoesel optimized LTM/LTO programs and incorporated an environmental database into the program. Mr. van Hoesel authored and contributed to project documents including WPs, SAPs, and HSPs. He has also edited technical reports including (semi-)annual LTM reports.
Mr. van Hoesel has extensive experience with database management for environmental data. He is responsible for bioventing/biosparging system operation at several petroleum spill sites. Mr. van Hoesel completed a 40 hour course in assessment of wetlands boundaries according to the 1987 Corps of Engineers (CE) Wetland Delineation Manual.
Mr. van Hoesel received his Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Science and Natural Environment, and his Masters of Science in Aquaculture Engineering from Wageningen University, Wageningen, the Netherlands.
